Lewis’ Till We Have Faces adapted by Producing Artistic Director, Karen Lund. Taproot Theatre’s plays intend to ignite learning and continue our mission towards producing theatre of hope.

Position Overview: The Dresser sets up for rehearsals involving costumes and performances, also acting in part as wardrobe crew (unsheathing drycleaning, hanging up clothing, prepping wigs as needed). The Dresser participates in the production by dressing actors and collaborating with the crew to ensure actors feel safe and prepared backstage before they enter the stage. The Dresser arrives on time, is proactive, follows their dresser paperwork closely, and informs Stage Management and the Costume Shop of any necessary repairs and issues in a timely fashion.

Faith Statement: Taproot Theatre Company is incorporated as both a non-profit theatre and a religious organization. Our organization operates outside of church oversight and across denominations. Currently, all permanent Taproot staff participate in corporate prayer and self-identify as Christians. Seasonal workers and guest artists may choose not to participate in these customs and represent a diversity of backgrounds and faith traditions. Taproot Theatre welcomes people of all faith traditions who are comfortable working in a Christian environment to apply for open positions and does not preference candidates for non-director positions on the basis of religion.
