TPS Resident Company Program

TPS offers a limited number of Resident Company opportunities to support the growth of the Puget Sound performing arts community! TPS is always open to receiving new applications for Resident Companies and the Resident Company Operating Board (RCOB) will review and consider completed applications as they are received, and may select companies if there is additional space availability.

What is a TPS Residency? Based on strength-of-mission, vision, and will-to-achieve, TPS will select performing arts companies who align with our mission and positively contribute to the community. Launching new TPS Companies-in-Residence at Seattle Center will maximize support and expand possibilities for organizations to present great art at a more affordable rates. Additionally, under a consistent and common location, performing arts audiences can gain a sense of predictability and stability with their attendance choices. But, this consistency and predictability doesn’t have to mean a lack of choice or opportunity. TPS has 3 performance spaces of varying sizes, stages, and equipment including the 195-seat modified thrust style Center Theatre, the78-seat proscenium style BlackBox Theatre, 57-seat proscenium style Theatre4 (both proscenium style black box spaces have retractable seating).

Priority consideration deadline for the current round of applications is August 1, 2025
