Theatre4 offers the community opportunities for risk and exploration in a supportive and accessible environment. Take advantage of the affordable rates and additional benefits to produce your own work. Theatre 4 is a great place to develop new works and increase audience exposure to developing companies. Theatre 4 also holds potential for teachers and students to collaborate throughout the entire theatre production process. The professional quality lighting and sound system offers designers ample space to hone their skills while working in an intimate and creative space. Explore the possibilities of the creative and intimate environment, while working with professional quality technical system. It is open to all disciplines of art and available to non-profit arts organizations and individual artists who wish to develop, teach, and/or perform their creative products, in a supportive and professional environment. Works ranging from one-person shows, school showcases, public readings, and full cast productions have and can be produced in Theatre 4.
Included in the rental of this space:
TPS provides clean and affordable rentals in the Seattle Center Armory. Each of our studio and performance spaces are equipped with standard amenities specific to the space (please see the space specific page for details), and we understand that in some circumstances you may require additional amenities. In addition to adding to the number of standard amenities, TPS also offers equipment rental for our spaces.
How to purchase add-ons when booking:
When making a reservation in one of the TPS spaces, you will find a list of available add-ons below the date selector.
Please note the specific instruction next to the add-on you are selecting. Some items will be charged a flat rate for the day and some you will need to do a small amount of math.
Tech Use Fees:
TPS has a number of spaces with enhanced technology systems. On the rental pages for the Black Box Theatre, Theatre4, Center Theatre and the Conference Room you will find space-specific Tech Use Add-On options. These are all charged per day and will have specific parameters for use.

You are required to pay for your booking in full at least 30 days prior to your first day of scheduled booked time. You must pay 20% at checkout, 30% at 30 days after reserving, and the final 50% at 60 days after reserving.
Booking reminders, with access information, including key box code, are sent out 1 hour in advance of the start of your chosen booking time. To ensure that we can confirm your order and provide your access codes in a timely manner please email space4arts@tpsonline.org for any booking made within 1 hour of your starting time.
Please note: all bookings are subject to confirmation. If your booking does not meet requirements, adjustments may be needed before you are allowed to reserve a space and make your payment.
