January 24 @ 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm
Are We Really Back? is a community Town Hall for the Puget Sound performing arts scene to pause, reflect, and speak honestly about where we are now as a community. As venues reopen, productions return, and audiences re-engage, many of us are asking the same question: has our industry truly recovered, or are we still rebuilding in deeper ways? Have we left anything behind that we wish we could get back?
This facilitated hybrid (in-person in Theatre4 and via Zoom) conversation invites artists, administrators, technicians, educators, and supporters to share perspectives on what recovery looks like today, what’s working, what’s still fragile, and what we need next to move forward together. Join us for an open, thoughtful exchange about the present and future of our local performing arts ecosystem and help shape what “back” really means for our community.
Participants will walk away with:
Shared insights on what worked this year, and inspiration from one another as we look ahead
A renewed sense of connection and community
A broader understanding of how the Puget Sound performing arts industry is really doing
A solutions-focused conversation grounded in lived experience
